Hi,
I’m new to the game and I’d like to ask few things. (I searched web, but didn’t find an answer (well, maybe I’m blind)). Okay, here it goes.
I’d like to try Blademaster and here are the main questions:
1a. If I use Nightblade’s Dual Blades as my main attack (with it’s own bonuses, does it stack with the soldier’s passive attack bonuses (like Markovian’s Advantage, Zolhan’s Technique, Fighting Spirit)? It says it can be activated by all default attacks, but I dunno whether it really means ALL, or only all from specific class.
1b. And if so, does the Nightblade’s passives (Anatomy of Murder etc.) also stay active?
2. “This ability must be toggled to maintain it’s effect” skills - how many of them can be active at the same time (considering I’d have enough resources)?
And one misc question… What’s the best cookie-cutter class/combination for equip hunting? No need to be extra specific, just which one you consider to be a good one.
I am also a neebe to the game and currently roling a Nightblade later to turn Blademaster. What guys from the forum say and what I noticed by playing:
1a - yes; 1b - yes; 2 - as long as you activate them I believe all will be active, like veil of shadow and field command are not mutually exclusive.
I was advice to get as many WPS (weapon pool skills like markovian from soldier or belgothian from nightblade to get 100% chance when all summed up so that I do not performa any autoattacks anymore only those special attacks from WPS that give all these nice bonuses like additional targets, more dmg etc.
I hope it helps
Btw, check out all my noob(ish) questions I have posted here and this might help a lot since the community did offer really good pieces of advice and cleared a lot of stuff up for me And all my questions regarded Blademaster and skills from nightblade and soldier
Passives like Anatomy of Murder, Merciless Repertoire, all the rest of the nightblade passives, all the soldier passives, etc. will stay active UNLESS they specifically say otherwise (e.g. REQUIRES A SHIELD will… require a shield).
For abilities that need to be toggled, some can be used with all others (e.g. veil of shadow), but some ARE mutually exclusive. These are called ‘Exclusive Skills’ (original, I know), and will say on the tooltip that only one can be active at any one time. These are, to my knowledge, on row 50 only of a skill tree. Nightblade doesn’t have any, but Soldier has 2 - you can only have one of the 2 active at any one time.
If you want to farm for equips, the class needs to have good damage and clear, a preferably a gap closer (blitz in soldier, shadow strike in nightblade, etc.), and be tanky enough to kill bosses and heroes without a problem.
there are some skills; such as Shaman’s Stormcaller’s Pact & Primal Bond, that are exclusive skills.
You can only have one exclusive skill active at any time.
This is also applied cross class, so that you cannot have an exclusive skill; such as Oleron’s Rage, active whilst your Shaman exclusive skill is active.
Exclusive skills specifically state that they are an exclusive skill in the description, so it is pretty simple. If it’s an exclusive skill it cannot be active when another exclusive skill is active, other than that, as long as you have the energy to maintain it, there is no limit to the number of active skills that you can have!
