Oh right, way to used to running SR34-35, where mob’s are much more dense. But yeah, current SR30-31 mob distribution means you badly need to have lower cooldown movement skills if you want to speed run. And can sometimes take ages even with meeting that need, because RNG is going to RNG.
since this topic has been slowly shifting into SR discussion, I remembered I even made a thread about it - and @banana_peel and @mad_lee probably made similar threads over the years.
2-phase bosses are definitely irritating as well. while sth like Gargabol has pretty fast phase transition, with Kurwaak/Theodin/Karroz you can go make some tea and return in time. Moosie has only 2nd phase in sr, so why can’t those bosses have the same treatment?
sometimes the random is just way too bad. imagine if you’ve been playing Spellscourge (already pretty hard, right?) so you kinda want to group up bosses to maximize your damach. but then you load into the boss room and see: ok, here’s Zantarin…and another Zantarin…and Bargoll…and maybe some lame chaos caster boss (we have 3 of them, why?) or maybe another caster or ranged boss. so you get the idea probably.
I agree completely. The way runes work in these fights is just awful. If you’re using Rune Binder, the boss’s transformation phase should be the perfect time to stack your runes. With Gargabol, you can unload everything and deal massive damage right after the phase ends.
But with other bosses? Zero. They somehow get a weird invulnerability period after transforming. All your runes go to waste. Why do they even have that?
