So lately I’ve been farming a lot in areas that have bloodsworn enemies. Out of about 20 hours or so of farming I’ve gotten maybe 3 or so Bloodsworn Vestments which are a rare drop from Bloodsworn Doomsayers. When I compare this to other MI drops (especially compared to DLC MI’s) this is just a ludicrously low drop rate. All the other Bloodsworn MI’s seem to drop much, much more frequently aswell.
Does anyone else share this experience?
I noticed it too actually. Mostly i noticed the only ones i saw in 3 difficulties of content were 3 (AoM quest reward, 1 per difficulty) and a few in crucible. Coulda sworn they used to be much more common.
This is in part because in AoM the new MIs have two MI versions whereas in the base game they have the MI version and the magic version. So in AoM you just find the MIs more often.
Well even if I don’t compare them to the AoM ones, I’ve found more Bloodsworn Repeaters, Scepters and Codexes than I can count, they drop like candy. I get that the vestments only drop from Doomsayers but even then they have incredibly low drop rates.
Problem is that the various weapons and off hands drop from every single bloodsworm human and that doomsayers are such a rare encounter. They either need to become much more common or just add bloodsworm priests and summoners to the vestments wearing catecory.
This is the same for a lot of MI dropping from rare mobs. For example I have seen only 4 bonespikes (Trog blood mages) since I started playing GD (about 1000 hours)
