I haven’t gotten a single blueprint for 374 hours of playing the game, the last blueprint literally dropped when I reached 300 hours in GD. When I filled my blueprints via GD Stash today, I literally only got like 5 blueprints.
374 hours of farming/playing everything, no blueprint drops, about million (not really, lol) legendary drops, double rare MI’s, but no blueprints. Hope I made your day better.
I just checked, and I actually didn’t have only Sentinel’s blueprints. Well, no wonder since he’s so boring to farm that I never even bothered going there.
I was getting a steady stream of them when I started farming the Nemesis recently, but it abruptly ended a week or so ago. My guess would be that as you get more, the odds decrease. Although I’m game for a good conspiracy theory. I also ran the Steps and didn’t get anything. I think they mentioned there being at least a guarantee of a single role: so again, probably a duplicate roll on that.
Had a bit of a dry spell as of late too , until I read this thread.
Got quite a few off nemesis troves today, incl. a double blueprint drop, thx Slick!
I think i’m still missing 1 or 2 after 1400 hours in this game but it doesn’t matter, as i can do all content i want to do (seems like you can too) so why does it matter?
At least there is still some chance of getting lucky, and thus killing those bosses can be worth it.
I don’t want them to increase that because my PC will explode. I already have to wait a second or few for items to drop from the big chests, I don’t want to wait another 10.
Ye, it does, but it is like a 99 year old guy that worked in a mine. 8 years old, held so much in the past (when I was still little and dumb and thought that running it on 95+% CPU usage every day for ~two years was not a big deal) that it already can’t run Divine Divinity smoothly anymore (and this game is from 2002). I bet formatting it and cleaning would solve those problems, but this is a random PC, not even a gaming PC, so I rather wait till I have money for a new one.
Unless a game runs, and I don’t see screenshots like in Gothic 3 (the game itself has flaws, so don’t blame my PC xD) - I don’t mind playing. Like 3 years ago, even Witcher 2 ran smoothly on middle settings, and this PC is just a random PC from the store because my old one died and I could not afford a good PC.
Rogue like and Nemesis chests have an increased BP drop chance, i got most of mine from them (legendaries one at least, others often come from Treasure Trove)
There was a thread about BP issues a while back: Blueprint drops
Essentially it will be statistically very hard to get the last few. Ages ago I was running a lot of nemesis chests with maybe 5 or less BPs unknown at the end. I think I was at an estimated 1 drop per 50 chest success rate at the end.
Concurrently I was experimenting with many variations/tweaks on builds so it was not personally mind-numbing and it was a nice 1v1 tweak comparison…but a dedicated BP search by itself (for the remaining few) would certainly have be an exercise in insanity.
Once you know the majority of BP, you have a few options:
