Hi! Could you please advise on the gear tag? Does g# mean # of green items? Do other factors have any significance? Like possibilities to buy a green item (MI) in a store, conduits, component material costs?
Hi!
Itâs under âGuidelines for posting / Tagsâ section of the OP.
- g1 : beginner builds. Those that can be easily done on your first character. Builds that feature full or almost full faction gear are the ones that belong here. A build should only be rated as g1 if it features a faction gear setup cause those are the easiest items to find.[/li] [li]g2 : Flexible itemization or farmable set dependent builds. No fancy MIs required unless itâs self-found. Krieg builds and Dark One builds are good examples. Basically gearing has multiple options.[/li] [li]g3 : No MI, full legendary/set builds with craftable boots. Also includes +5 (skill) Badge of Mastery builds.[/li] [li]g4 : Builds one mandatory MI with fixed affixes, excluding crafted boots.[/li] [li]g5 : Same as above but with more than one MI
Thank you. I somehow skipped that part. What would be the gear tag for this build https://www.grimtools.com/calc/d2jqMP4N ?
It includes a MI shield sold in Malmouth, Krieg set, 2 other greens (need some resistances and life leech), cheap relic, half the components require Ugdenbloom.
What does âself-foundâ mean in g2 section?

Hello guys
All done.
Oh thanks! :3
Hi!
Your mentioned build is g2. Self-found items are those without double-rare affixes. The chance to find the shield with one rare affix and one magical is acceptable, so everyone can repeat your piece of gear on practice; but if you use double-rare affixes, this chance drastically decreases, and a new player canât repeat this, so I canât treat is as self-found.
Hey, man, can you add this flashy Spellbreaker

http://www.grimdawn.com/forums/showthread.php?t=80822
Thanks in advance!
Hello! Glad to see you again
Done.
Yeah my computer had some issues and then there was Christmas and stuff
Nice to see that the builds are still flowing in!
is there anyway to find builds for normal people?
i didnt play 10000 hrs and i dont want to gdstash stuff.
this here just feels like a swagfest
Start a thread and describe a build youâd like to play.
There is a section âBuilds for Beginnersâ in the first post. It is written in blue text and has a spoiler to click. There are like 8 or so âbudget buildsâ posted there
You could also watch my Beginner build series on YT https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y409UZKRrRc&list=PLBTx32nCTZ2A0oDe2hUD4LgybQqVxsPC5
Hey, i donât know if this is the right place to ask this, but i just got this game yesterday and i would love to get a gunslinger build going, wich ones of these builds are still up to date since Stupid Dragon said in his guide that since 1.0.7. his guide is no longer viable. Thank you all in advance.
It is still viable for a beginner perspective, but the Guns he used (havoc) is not best choice. Also, the Havoc guns are random drops so its not ideal for a beginner in that regard either. You can still make a decent build with it, just shop for guns now and then. Also viable means âkill everything in the game on the highest difficultyâ.
You can also go with the purifier http://www.grimdawn.com/forums/showthread.php?t=74454
same story there, shops are your best friend.
I have plans to make many many more beginner builds once the new expansion is out.
also going back to the ranged tactician, now the transmuter for War Cry gives resistance reductions to all dmg types. Might be worth considering if you are going down the pierce route.
