Build in Progress Hardcore Pyromancer

Ok so I have never shared any of my builds/progress in depth on the forums, so thought i’d finally get around to posting one. This build has been really fun leveling up. So far i’m level 55 in Elite just starting act 3. I’ll Start with Main skills.
Attack formation

Black water cock tail - Main Bread and butter spam attack. Excellent for debuffing enemies OA, lowering resistances, and dealing one of our main types of damage, Chaos. currently I ignore the middle modifier as I wont be needing to lower physical resistances

Sigil Of consumption - second attack plus health sustain utility. Drop this puppy in the middle of enemies while kiting.

Canister Bomb - Using this only for the awesome aoe stun.

Defense skills

Vindictive Flame - Awesome skill cc stun, speed buff, and good source of health regen.

Blood Of Dreg - Another awesome skill - good flat OA buff, heal, and health regen.

Blast Shieldgreat ohh shit skill. Damage mitigation, and raises our resistances to damage types quite a bit!

Aether aura granted from component, very useful for filling in the resistance to aether gap.

Void aura - chaos resistances

I’ll update again periodically when I can get a chance to. I eventually want to go ovewr devotions, but for now the main devotion that I have is Solaers Sword which I have eldrich fire bound to black water cocktail.

I will be interested to see how you progress. I tried something similar and found that BWC had some trouble scaling into Ultimate - I was mowing everything down on elite. I was it had a little more “umph” for the point investment. It is a great debuff though.

What are you using for single-target damage? This was another area where I ran into difficulty. I tried playing with grenado and the fire strike line, but I felt like nothing could really take down bosses fast enough. My character was a sorcerer and didn’t have particularly good gear but still managed pretty well, so maybe I needed to upgrade in that area more. He did make it to Act 3 Ultimate before I shelved him with only 2 deaths and ok clear speed. He had all defensive devotions and only about 750% fire dmg. HPs were sitting around 7k.

I will probably revisit him, just needed a break. Seeing all these bulids facerolling Fabius, BoC, etc. may have taken away my perspective :slight_smile: I did have fun with him, but I don’t like dying and he was a bit squishy even with defensive devotions.
