Are there any viable cadence DW pistol builds which can clear ultimate and nemesis?
I really would try it but i dont know which way to go…
Maybe warder with grasping vines (+rend) for aoe and primal bond?
Please help

I have 1 cadence build dualwielding deathdealer sidearms, it is basically a witchblade build , wearing 3/4 warborn set and plunderer talisman. And yeah, you can do ulti and farm roguelikes with no problems at all.

Maybe bit tweaking would be required but it should work more than good.
P.S. Warder is bad idea, WB, commando or BM (pierce variant) are much better options.
I am currently leveling a soldier with two havocs. At level 50, when i started to use my gear, he was wrecking everything but has slowed down a little now (beginning of ultimate). I am missing the second class, but want to wait for inqusitor before deciding
Will preface with I’m not an expert and have yet to test it but this was what I came up with playing around with things;

I will test this tomorrow and see how it plays. I am sure there are better builds out there but I thought this one looked pretty good just on paper. Also being restricted by being almost entirely cunning means I had to improvise with the armour. I also wanted to keep the gear relatively easy to access. Still managed to get a respectable amount of health and the resists are pretty good.
Hope this helps or gives you some ideas. I considered going with havocs but then I lose pierce resistance and soldier skills.
Change devotions, you absolutely need assassins blade and absolutely have no reason to take kraken.
Kraken doesn’t work with 1h gun, so I shift your devotions and components a bit http://www.grimtools.com/calc/r2B3vJVA
Bull is important for your build because it adds flat trauma and futher reduce physique requirement for armor by -10%
Yep that is why I said I was not an expert, thanks for the changes. Didn’t really need to further reduce physique requirements as already over the armour threshold but those changes really increase the power of the build. Why remove the prismatic diamond though? I’ve found prismatic rage to be incredibly powerful when it procs. I thought that vindictive flame had diminishing returns after level 11? Ah, so with kraken it means it requires a two handed melee or a two handed ranged weapon? That is a little ambiguous in the wording.
Hope this helps the OP.
I bow to the master and his knowledge (not sarcasm.)
There are later armors that require up to 970 physique, with Bull you can still equip them. Prismatic diamond is great, but generally you don’t want to get hit as a ranged build
So as promised I did a bit of testing with the build Thai posted and while I have not finished the game I have tested in some areas and against some enemies that are usually a good litmus test. The build has died two times and only in the interest of testing.
So far I have put down everything between viloth and smuggler’s pass including moo and Alky. Alky is in my opinion one of the hardest fights in the game that isn’t queeny or avatar. It is usually the place most of my builds struggle but this one did it really easily.
Moo was also pretty easy and is the first time I’ve faced him. I face tanked him for a bit before he went into second life and I got chain frozen. Took me a minute to get out of range of those ice crystals with moo right on me and still tanked that damage and put him down without dying. Two deaths. The first I tried face tanking 5 heroes including one hero golem and 3 golems. I actually only died because an enemy was blocking the door and the pathing went weird on me. Second death was in the interest of finding out how reflectives stack up against this build. Basic reflect mobs like knights are no issue. Hero reflectives though, oh boy, wait for their aura to drop or you will destroy yourself. Will keep testing as this is quite an enjoyable build, though interested to see if I can make it even more shooty with quick draw gloves and things. Also even with this easy to find basic gear I am still having no issue.
Log down and some giant creature called Ben Jahar. The log fight was ridiculous. I died five times because Log kept switching off my passive skills and he had 8 or 9 of the flaming Cththonian combat guys on the screen plus 5 or 6 tentacles. I’m enjoying the build but I don’t honestly know if I can take queeny with this build. Need a better way to proc assassins mark.
Hope this helps.
You can’t take queen with this build unless your control is godly. The build simply lacks DOT so queen can easily heal up if you are hit by her spike
As fun as it is, it’s just another vanilla game build that cannot perform outside of it
I know because I have a plunderer witchblade http://www.grimtools.com/calc/wV1QoMVD
In this build you must swap devotion skill around, while farming you bind bull rush to cadence, but in boss fight you bind assassin mark to cadence instead. For some reasons you cannot bind bull to curse, and that hinders the build a lot
My control is definitely not godly. Just took me an hour to get through bastion. I actually have acid spray bound to cadence because it lacks a good delivery system with this build. Will try bull rush on cadence, didn’t even think of that. Need to find a way to improve the kill speed of this build to make it a good farming build but it is a lot of fun and quite tanky and it took down Shar.
Hmm, your witchblade looks ever better than this cadence build I’ve been playing. Much more functional resist reduction due to not having a good reliable way to deliver acid spray. Might have to farm for the warborn equipment and see if I can put that build together. Does Advantage proc without a melee weapon?
Not every build has to be queen/avatar killing capable. Sometimes things are just fun to try. This build has taken down two nemesis. I’d say that’s pretty good for a build that was thrown together in a few minutes with low quality gear.
You don’t need to take acid spray because Break Morale does the same thing and they don’t stack.
As for power delivery, you can always take 1 point in some skill and use it, for example BWC of demo or DEE/pox of occultist
And yes, the build is hella fun, I even named my char Rambo because he just facetank and shoot down all the mobs with 20% lifesteal
