Cadence vs 1H Blade Arc vs MA vs ZT

Hello everyone,

Sorry if this might have been answered previously, tried to research but only found semi-vaque information.

First, picked up the game a while ago but recently started playing. I have a 35 Warlock, 35 Conjurer, and 37 Witchblade. Witchblade playstyle is sword and shield physical bleed build. I have read numerous posts on how bad Cadence is.

So, all I’m looking to know is, is 1H Blade Arc effective; more effective than Cadence? Or, are the Soldier WPS skills more effective than Cadence in a 1H build, whereas Blade Arc is typically used in a 2H build? Just looking for something to prod along and one day finish ultimate; don’t care about highest DPS or fastest clear time. Just looking for relative effectiveness.

Blade Arc is only effective with 2 Handed weapons and those posts you read about Cadence are outdated. Cadence got a big buff in the last update and it’s much better now. And no, Soldier WPS skills are not better than Cadence, not by a mile.

If you are going sword and shield Witchblade, go for Cadence.

And Blitz. Blitz hits with both weapon and shield, and damage is insane.

Due that fact that in the latest patch cadence got massively buffed so cadence now is best of all fit for one-handed + shield

Oh yessir, most definitely have Blitz. Going with the cookie cutter physical bleed build, but tweaking it some for my tastes.

Good to know Cadence is better now.

Since you mentioned Blitz; is there value in taking Warcry and Blindside? I read old posts mentioning Blindside being better for boss fights, but Warcry is fine because of range. Trying not to waste points on similar skills.

War Cry is actually kind of pointless to take. Too much cooldown. I always take Blindside when i take Blitz. Blindside increases the number of targets Blitz can hit to 5 and reduces the target’s Defensive Ability.
