So, I am playing an auto attack purifier, and it seems (can someone confirm this?) my attacks on Fabius aren’t damaging him at all while he chases me, meaning the only way to kill him is some tedious kiting while spamming potions, word of renewal and teleport and doesn’t always work since he keeps damaging me with his aura while invisible. The alternative which worked way better for me is to face tank him. I still feel this doesn’t make any sense. It should be better for a ranged squishy to kite… and if I can’t hit him while he is invisible I can’t lifesteal either which is another nuisance.
So my question is whether I can apply damage to him while he is invisible (not talking about DoT applied before he goes invisilbe).
Yes, area/ground spell like BWC, pets, or throwable skill like Grenado still damage him when he invisible. On autoattack melee or ranged is harder as you must guess his position.
If you want to face tank him, make sure you have at least 2.8k DA to not get crit, pierce and cold resist overcap. He also deal physical damage through his vanish and wps skill, so get more than 2k armor and about 15% physical resist.
I’m pretty sure it didn’t, I can still see the damage number my pet damage him when he invisible or when he step to BWC. Even vs Korvaak during his transformation phase, unselectable but can still be damaged.
Thanks for the answers, maybe I wasn’t paying enough attention, many times i saw the projectile hit (and not continue the path) but I don’t remember seeing lot of numbers pop up as usual.
