Can I still get non-empowered Epic drops at level 85?

Hey all,

So I’m farming yet another Black Grimoire of Og’Napesh. Does this item (and other regular epics) drop for a level 85 character or do I need to use a lower level character to farm? Can I only get legendaries and empowered epics since I’m max level or is it still possible to farm regular epics at max level?

You shouldn’t be able to get anything below level 50 at that level. And those level 50 drops will be rare.

The drops you get depend upon the level of the enemy you kill, not your character level (as far as I am aware). So killing lower level enemies (for example, going down to Normal Vet) should get you lower level loot.

hi, I don’t now if you can loot the empowered Black Grimoire of Og’Napesh, but if you have the blueprint, you can craft it.
Farm in Ultimate for loot many empowered items.

Ah ok. So I’ll need to drop down to Veteran with my lvl 85 toon to farm another non-empowered Grimoire.
