Can pets make auras hit multiple times?

Example:

I have 4 pets attacking a boss. They each have the elemental exchange arcanist aura on them, which inflicts ticks of damage over time.

Is the boss damaged from every instance of the aura (4x pets plus me) or just once (pets having aura would be redundant)
