Can the location of the local save be changed?

I purchased the game on Steam, and there is a cloud save on Steam, but when I create a character, it says there are too many characters and asks me to delete some.

So I can only use the local save, but the local save is on the C drive. Can I transfer the save location?

Please tell me how to change it, or tell me how to exceed the character limit, thank you

Steam has a storage limit and a file limit. In order to not exceed the file limit, we set the character limit at a safe limit of 50 so you never end up with partially stored (and thus corrupted) characters.

The local files are located in the Documents/My Games/Grim Dawn folder of your %USERPROFILE%. You can move the whole Documents folder by opening its Properties and going to the Path tab.

if you wanna keep using cloud saves and don’t wanna deal with the char limit, just move your chars you’re not actively playing out of the folder and then create new ones
