Can we add casting speed to 2H's

There’s a serious lack of 2H caster weapons (most notably with the new ones) available and it makes me sad.

On a somewhat unrelated note, there’s also a distinct lack of casting weapons in all categories for the following damage types:

  • Chaos damage
  • Acid damage
  • PIERCING DAMAGE - literally none.

HMM Kraken has CS now

Also Obsidian Juggernaut got some CS too

Yeah, I guess. But I find a lot of seals to be pointless.

I’ve always wanted to make seal of shadows work, but it’s impossible without greens because of a lack of solid casting weapons.

I’ve tried acid, chaos, and pierce on seal of shadows. :confused:

Since it was nerfed, as far as I know from Valinov who is a big fan of it, cold and chaos are best

All sorts of conversions can be used to drive a lot of flat dmg to acid and has good CS

I actually tried doing an unorthodox deathguard reaper using the RE offhand.

It’s not amazing, but it can clear 170 buffed/bannered.

Why not? Does something have to be unbannered to be worth posting? My belgo is bannered to get eh highest kill times. I don’t care.

I was mostly just dissatisfied with it. I don’t think a lot of people would benefit from it, because the playstyle needed to pilot it is rather harsh.

The honest-to-god problem with the necromancer is its distinct lack of acid RR.

TBH, I find casting speed is easier to be capped than attack speed. AS is especially harder to cap in 2H melee, 2H gun, and 1H gun.

So don’t use necro :smiley:

Definitely. There’s no CS penalty for 2H, unlike AS.

EDIT: I think you circumvented the problem by using the soldier class which has innate CS. But for something like an acid or a chaos based caster, you really need that RR because they tend to be so poorly supported.

With that in mind, soldiers are immediately taken out of the equation.
