Hi guys, recently Chillheart got +1 demo points which is great and created much diversity.
Though we can’t say same thing about Stormheart. This is an item only be usable for Lightning FS and Cadence supported with shaman class. Chaos conversion on the item is only useful for Brimstone. Unless anyone made a melee lightning conjurer or witchblade I don’t know but doubt they will be any better than meme. A few patches ago Banana made a druid with them but it’s mostly totem build. It’s not a caster item either and currently I don’t know any melee build uses one or two of them. Lightning cadence isn’t a popular one either.
Ideas
FS support is cool but Chaos Conversion isn’t a big deal so Devs can change it into pierce>lightning or better cold>lightning.
+1 to shaman can be added to increase usability. Or +1 Nightblade can be also added to create some diversity.
Since the lightning damage is so unstable, changing or adding it’s skill(chain lightning) some RR would be good also.
And lastly, lightning damage still hasn’t any melee component to use like coldstone or enchanted flint.
Sure, sounds good but doesn’t make the build even mid-tier. It helps for AoE yes but If you play warder with them you get %60 wps chance at tops, if you play elementalist you get %32 wps only with seals. It’s not much a big boost as I mentioned.
47% with a Korvaak Brand needed to use them. Even the 32% is better than the inherent 0 that you have with Elementalist or Druid. Just my opinion though.
I do think they should get a +1 bonus though - would be nice!
Never tried because all my theorycrafts seems lame even on paper but okay let’s accept chaos conversion has some uses. Nevertheless daggers need some rework to be used with more class combos. You can use Blazeheart almost with every class combos, and with the patch Chillheart can be used with Purifiers, Saboteurs and Sorcerers aswell along with Templar, Mage Hunter, Infiltrator etc.
I’m not expecting a top tier blade here, even though there is no proper melee lightning weapon. But this can be enchanced a bit to make people use it.
