Just finished a crucible and only dipped below 60 FPS on two occasions but otherwise it never dropped a single frame off 60. Also, played an hour of campaign and not a single stutter or FPS drop. Whoever did the engine update, I thank you wholeheartedly for making such an amazing job!

Regardless of all the complaints that the community comes up with (myself included), you really are a great example of communication between the dev team and the customers. And the amount of quality content you deliver to the community, for such reasonable prices, is outstanding.

The expansion turned GD from a horrible microlaggy stutterfest even at high fps into a smooth gaming experience. I can finally stop complaining about the shitty engine and/or shitty optimization. It almost doubles the fun I have with the game.
Whoever is responsible for this, give the man a pay rise (or not, considering how bad it was before)

It’s brilliant - I don’t have the most amazing PC myself so I always used to have Lighting set to low, but the engine update made it so I could play through the entire expansion on maxed out settings with far less insane frame drops than I used to get. All that added lighting made the new environments even prettier than they already are as well.
Not sure what you meant by this but previously 1 core in my 7700K was having huge usage while the remaining ones slept. Now, it seems the game is utilizing multi-core properly. My CPU temp used to hit around 50C ~ 52C before AoM but now it barely crosses 40C when in-game (ambient is 20C).
I’m very impressed by performance gains. Before engine upgrade I experienced drops to 40fps. Usualy it averaged at 70. But now most of the time I have steady 120fps. Unbelievable. Such a smooth gaming experience.
