Village needs to can beans and peas above root veggies-most root veggies IRL will last most of the winter without canning. Also, reuse of the jars is needed. A new building w a collector to collect and wash the jars for reuse would be great. Another poster suggested in a thread that perhaps a percentage loss of jars per year would be realistic as some would broken etc. I second the idea

I generally agree with this. First of all, it’s strange that one bottle can make 20 cans. It would be nice to adjust this ratio and create a recycling function. Like compost collection, it would be a good idea to collect empty bottles from each house. I think it would look nicer if you used soap for cleaning.

Would give another avenue of use for soap as well. Great idea to add soap use!
