Actually i play the version 0.7.3 and i have some savegames. I can find the files with the windows explorer (D:\My Games\Farthest Frontier\Save\Ruhrburg_2022098214355), but the game doesn’t find them. Earlier this day everything was fine with the same version.
I have already configured the exception at the windows defender. There is no other security software installed, wich could cause mistakes in running programs.
The OS is Windows 11 on an mobile RTX2070 an a core i7 cpu.
If you make a new save, do they end up in the correct location and are visible in game when loading?
The game started to save the files in a different folder: C:\Users****\OneDrive\Documents\My Games\Farthest Frontier\Save
I have copied the missing savegames into the new folder, now the games finds and loads them again.

Unfortunatly have the also problem, that my save games from 30 hours playtime and a city near level 4 are gone. Save folder in User… Documents … is just empty
I have not installed one drive @all and I can not find the save files anywhere on my PC
As I tryed to start a new map I run directly into the same problem → saved map close game open it again nothing to load.
Later I detected a message from the windows defender that he blocked writing into the save folder of FF
so I added FF as allowed allways program to write to my the defender… again. After that I could save and load a new game also again.
Seems that an defender update happend during my last session blocked FF before saving of my city and killed thereby all process. So my old city is destroyed 
I guess.
I will not start FF over again for the moment as my gametime per week is very limited … If anybody else had such a problem and a tipp how to recover the savegame, he/she could save my day

Sadly if the game hasn’t been saved then there’s no way to recover it.
