Celestial Powers Damage Values On Pets Use Their Damage

Right so, celestial powers when displaying something like damage (like flame torrent) will have x% main hand damage (Y - Z), however, when you apply the power to the a pet, it’s still showing the damage as scaling on your weapon.
it would be more convenient if it displayed the damage of the pet, so you better how powerful it is on the pet in question.

EDIT: So after closer testing, it turns out all the damage listed on celestial powers is based on player stats and bonuses, not pet bonuses, even when assigned to a pet. Would be nice if that was possible to change, to get more accurate numbers, unless the skills simply just base off player stats, as intentional design.

Pets sadly don’t have a weapon damage value, so basically treat it as zero when assigning a devotion proc to a pet. It does correctly calculate and display the pet bonuses to the flat/dot portions of the skill, at least.

Actually I just tested that. It doesn’t. It uses your damage bonuses for all the flats and dots too.

This is the “base” damage values of the skill.
106-202 damage (based off of my 321-611 damage) and 768 fire damage, 275 chaos damage and 2487 burn damage over 3 seconds.

Here I remove my boots that give +2 hellhound, +24% total damage (pets) and +2% cunning (hence why the damage drops slightly to 105-201)
As we can see, even though this should cause a noticeable drop in the damage of the skill, nothing changes.

Here are the boots I removed. 24% damage and +2 hellhound SHOULD have made a difference when removed. But it didn’t, because the skill is scaling based on my powers, even though its assigned to a pet.

Hm, you are right, it doesn’t display correctly at all.

Limitations of old ui, ho.
