I can’t locate where the game tells how much hp is gained per physique. What I want to do is make it so spirit and cunning give a little bit as well.
If you can’t find it in the records, then there’s a good chance that it’s hardcoded.
Yep, it is. If it would be anywhere, it’s in the “combatformulas” or whatever its called.
We found it. Its…uh…its something. (Edit: No, it isn’t hardcoded. Edit2: Well we can’t make Spirit/Cunning grant HP, but we can change how much Physique gives.)
@Zantai/Medierra:
yep, it is in records\creatures\pc\playerlevels.dbr but semi-hardcoded, ie it is bound to Physique hard, but you can decide how many points it should give
Umm…no. Close, but you can make every point of Physique give you a million health if you wanted. Let’s do some math:
The Game Guide asserts that every point of Physique gives you 2.5 Health and every point of Spirit gives you 2 Energy. Without % Modifiers to the stats, that means that a singular attribute point - equating to 8 points of a stat - would give you 20 Health or 16 Energy, right?
Now, if you’re like me, you probably assumed those were just relics of the good ol’ days of Titan Quest, back when you could invest in those stats.
Wrong.
So you could change the amount of Physique you’d get per attribute point, but the health/attribute point would remain unaffected. (Clarification: So suppose you acquired 20 Physique per attribute point spent; you’d still get 20 Health/attribute point, but as consequence all sources of Physique would only give you 1 Health)
health/physique = life_increment/strength_increment
Because, you know, reasons. Edit: We tested this. Edit 2: And by ‘we’ I mean 3 people in the Grim Dawn Discord while I was asleep. So if this is incorrect blame them.
