You should never be able to cheat online it gives an unfair advantage and ruins the experience for everyone.
Cheating is a serious problem in this game not even an Anti Cheat, a VAC nothing? Not even a disclaimer?
Sucks, this game had a lot going for it.
When will Crate do something about online cheaters?
1st GD is a primarily single player game with MP as nice bonus. Crate is a tiny company they can’t afford to run a bunch of servers and people to staff them.
2nd I have joined random people’s games + had random people join my games and I haven’t seen that many cheaters. If you see one leave the server or boot them out of their game instead it’s that simple
3rd It doesn’t ruin everyone’s experience if you can simply kick them out of your damn game lol

There is nothing that will be done, find some legit players and play with them. Kick cheaters from the game you host, problem solved.

So you’re basically asking Crate to delete from the game what will make it survive the most?
If you want something against cheating, at the same time, it will go against modding.
That’s the simple reason why this is never gonna happens unless Crate at some point makes enough money to affort closed servers for these who dislike mods.
But the sort of anticheat you’re asking for would kill it.
