Clothing what is the population when this is trigger? Must avoid peps do not cut wood fast enough. (My current game end because of that and soap.) Does limiting housing stop births and immigration?

I don’t think it’s related to a population number… rather if their clothes start getting bad and they want new ones
Thank you. Yep but as soon as you hit tier 2 the need for soap and clothing adds to the problem if the population is already at tier 1 demanding those items.
never had real problems so far… they can go a few years without soap and clothing… or I’ll buy it from a trader
Last village I created had the demand before tier 2 and as soon as levelled to tier 2 typhoid hit and everyone began to die. The sawmill could not put out wood fast enough to build the soap producer.
well I guess the demand is there from the beginning… but I don’t tend to serv every demand as soon as someone yells… you end up serving demands for every single one and never get to the important stuff… noone is gonna die if they don’t have propper clothing.
so if I had a desease problem I’d prioritize on that problem… I’d turn down firewood production and bring down everything that needs wood to a minimum until I have enough logs for the sawmill so I can build the soap factory as fast as possible.

I think they always need clothes but they start off with some on their backs and some in their startup wagon. It’s after those wear out that they start moaning about it.
