https://www.grimtools.com/calc/JVlR0pMN so far the build has been able to do the campaign on Ultimate (making my to the Darkvale Village). Have been able to achieve 381K DPS on the Training Dummy. Only significant problem really is having 57 energy regen while EoR costs 125.8 energy/sec.
Definitely get Chillheart sword. I’d have to build something like this from scratch to say more, though. I won’t touch your skills because I prefer tankier builds and you seem to like more offensive ones. Double Alkamos rings would be a must, imo. I’d go with Blizzard/Whirlpool on Spin2Win for more damage vs. trash. If you don’t mind about the +1 to all skills in amulet, get Mageslayer’s Protector (-15% RR, but no skill enhancement). Consider picking Rimeforged Mantle (shoulders), they proc on attack but you also lose some skill points.
Here’s my preference: https://www.grimtools.com/calc/xZyO3Ar2 (changed your skills too, as it’s my preference)
Would also need adjustment, I didn’t check resists or OA/DA. I’d personally dump the pants and get an MI which would enhance your resists.
Just happened to have Chillheart after my Physical Retal Warlord went through the secret quest and failed miserably against Crate of Entertainment. I’ll definitely look more into this later today.
What you think about combo of rings-eternal haunt and ice and fire. For amulet you can get Night’s embrace RR skill,Nightblade plus skills and crit to SS.
I’m not a fan of Ice&Fire ring, Eternal Haunt doesn’t give any skill bonuses and Night’s Embrace could work if you don’t mind additional buttons. 125% RR is enough, but if you want more, you can go with what you propose.
What are the odds these days for a +5 badge? They used to be bad, with yet another new class and new combination possibilities, this will be getting more and more unlikely to say the least
Some players can craft it from the first try with magic;).Btw if EoR doesn’t hit with shield(I think it doesn’t) maybe going DW,for dual blades flat damage and phys resist bonus.
Dual wield would most likely require one of the other damage types for EoR. I went with Cold cause Veil of Shadow and its passive get extra cost resist redux from the shield, plus the Physical is converted to Cold with Chillheart.
Question, little off topic tho…
does the bonus to RoT on chillheart stacks? total 80% dmg seems a lot, also the -3 sec CD?
would Ring os steel do more dmg that the full korba bonus? or the new 2h sword nadaan?
maybe infiltrator to use RoH and censure or trickster with a korba helm and full lightning to cold conversion?
wow - gravechill shield thing is so damn op. though chillheart seems kinda meh, a good ugdenbog chillstrife may end up for more dmg, tho +EoR is harder to get up to 26.
i dont think there are any great sets for it in terms of body pieces but it leaves us alot of freedom. i think zantarin shoulders probaby be good.
the unfortunate thing is with cold EoR is u essentially cannot use a free source of RR with guardian aura
Despite this build probably being average I still love it so much. Completed the vanilla campaign as well as Ashes of Malmouth and Forgotten Gods (Korvaak requires A LOT of kiting). Completed almost all of the rogue-like dungeons except Ancient Forest (need to know where to move to avoid all the area damage while fighting Gargabol) and even managed to beat the Clones of John Bourbon super-boss fight. Lokar does too much damage for Pneumatic Burth and healing pots to keep you alive and I highly doubt this build would survive 5 seconds against Callagadra. It also managed only SR35 so pretty much 99% of the community will end up avoiding this build anyway.
Was collecting missing lore notes yesterday, came across a hero with Frozen affix, that damn bitch was almost immune to cold damage entirely. I was only able to do 5K DPS against her.
