Resurrecting my thread cause I need some help. Playing in the new roguelike/roguelite and got turned into an interesting looking stain on the ground from least FIVE hero mobs and an “Embodiment” in a single group. Guessing that I’ll need to drop like half my damage in order to survive the new dungeon.

I’ll have a build post coming in the next week or so. I’ve been testing and polishing all EoR variants. Link your current setup, and I’ll give some advice when I get home from work in about 11 hours
https://www.grimtools.com/calc/DV974aWN is my current build from back in least June. Besides that unfair fight, my HP was spiking a bit too much for my liking. The Ancient Grove was the only dungeon I haven’t been able to complete with the posted build (just Gargabol 2nd form at the end whipped my ass). Beat all the rest of the content, got to least shard 45 in SR and even the Clones of John Bourbon superboss fight
With conditions “cold EoR dervish” I would build something like this: https://www.grimtools.com/calc/8NKLrxp2
Isn’t this kind of setup better? Double-green ring is craftable with any craft bonus you prefer.
Sadly I’m convinced the only way to do the new tomb area is to completely respec for high SR, which would mean cutting the damage by like 70% or more. Only responding now since I took some off from vanilla GD to play Reign of Terror, Torchlight 2 and other games. https://www.grimtools.com/calc/1NXXDQON current build has 207.5K DPS in the main char window with all buffs active. Like I’ve whined before, the only things the build hasn’t been able to do is Gargabol in The Ancient Grove, pretty much every Super Boss and Tomb of the Heretic.
Here’s the EoR Dervish I last played with it.
I actually did make it all the way through Tomb of the Heretic, clearing every mob (except for the hounds that infinitely respawn from the portals) and made it to Morgenoth. Sadly I might have only gotten it down to 50% HP but too many summons and projectiles to tell before I eventually failed.
