In talking about Arcanor, Temporal Archblade, Runebinder, Votex of Souls, Hellborne etc.
This is extremly frustrating as both Inquisitor and Shaman have quite a bit of phyz dmg that is borderline useless for non-phyz builds.
Yes, I agree. I really don’t care that the weapon’s base damage type has been changed to do the pure damage type. I still want the damage conversion. Removing it is missing the point of having damage conversion.
VoS was always pure aether. For awhile it was the only non-caster pure non-physical weapon.
I agree that this is an issue if there are no non-pure legendary alternatives. Temporal Arcblade definitely meets this criteria.
The chances of Crate reverting the change are very slim though, so you’d be better off hoping for alternative items to be introduced.
Actually, those weapons rather open new possibilities.
Shaman, for example, can use Savagery, and deal almost pure lightning damage with Stormreaver. Spellbinder with Arcanor can enjoy 100% aether Calidor’s Tempest, etc.
The main problem rises when you find out, that there is NO weapon that fits you well, at all. For example, recently i made 2-h forcewave/blitz Commando using Justice set. Ideally, i’d wanted to use a weapon with 50% physical -> fire conversion, or, at least, pure fire/burn damage, and it should have cast speed.
Ok, let’s look… The only item that fits this criteria, is Sharzul’s Wordeater, that drops once in a hundred years! Infernal Brimstone has attack speed, but doesnt have any cast speed sadly. Same as other mace with fire conversion. MI rare? There is no one that could fit too…
