anyone seen an example of this? i got so much stuff unlocked but none of my chaos, bloody, or burning 2handers are SWORDS lol. i need one :o
Short answer: there doesn’t appear to be one.
How could they forget a red 2H sword?!

This guy knows his shit, a Red Sword bringing down Lokarr’s Doom Bolt would be pretty friggin’ awesome
+1 for this idea
what’s amazing to me is there are SO many options for a RED one-handed sword, you got your pink ones, your fire blades, bleed swords, red oozy chaos blades, anything you want.
yet for 2Handed there is not one single red sword. Closest is that new aether sword which is bright PINK
all they need to do is palette swap, like make a blood red Slithbane how cool would that look??
Or maybe give us an ADVANCED tailor that lets you change the color hue of the particles/lighting :):)
Huh! That’s surprising, but checking grimtools, apparently true. Gutwrench doesn’t work, I assume?
Yeah, this would be the best solution. I’ve skipped over a couple of items that would otherwise look great on my character just because the hue is wrong.
Ya there’s plenty of red themed 2-handers out there, but I don’t want an axe, club, mace or cheese grater, I want a sword. Got the full red glows chaos knight look going but I can’t give him a red sword
While it would be cool, this runs into the same problem as a palette shift form conversions, it’s a ton of work. I mean, even more work than those conversions and devs already said that’s not on the cards.
I don’t know how feasible it’d be to do something like this but I bet it’d be a ton of work as Avyctes mentioned
If they wanted to do something simpler, I think adding the hues/glows that augments add to weapons to the Illusionist would work as a replacement.
depends on how they do their lighting. there’s a lot of real-time rendering going on, so changing aura hue shouldn’t be all that difficult. After all Dark Age of Camelot did it like 20 years ago lol, players could decide the color of the enchantment aura glow particles on their weapons.
