All i can find is Black Flame set which gives bonuses to Arcanist . Other set i have found is for Poison/Acid. They both boost vitality damage and Black Flame boosts both (chaos and vitality) but still it is not perfect for build. It has a skill which is not useful for me since i will be moving always. I am asking this because many builds have their “perfect sets” while this one is having none.
Am i missing a set or there is none? It needs to have;
-Vitality damage and Chaos damage boosts
+x to Doom Bolt, possesion, soc,destruction skills or Occultist skills entirely
Many res /da/oa/hp like any other legendary sets

Yes, i understand you but the problem is couldn’t find nice matches that suits my need. Fang of cthon is good example, maybe instead of black flame’s dagger i can use that rite?
Fang of Chthon, Skull of Gul Amesh, Voidwalker Footpads…Vit Casting has many individually good items, and no set AFAIK. Just wear the good items and be happy, because that means you can throw in a rare or two for good resists and maybe use some damage components/augments.
Thanks, Skull of gul’amash lacks chaos damage bonus and +1 to all skills but maybe i can compensate lacking parts from other items. Now i also need to drop that item :rolleyes:
Better yet would be getting a Black Flame orb. While yes, it’s a part of a set, it’s actually individually one of the strongest vit/chaos caster orbs by itself. It also still comes with that +1 Occultist +1 Possession.
You don’t always have to opt into using a set, but sometimes individual set pieces are strong enough to be used outside of sets. BFO is unique in being one of the only offhands that gives vit and chaos RR, has good bonuses to both, and still being a +1 item.
There’s also Blood Orb of Chthon which boosts both vit and chaos and gives +1 to Occultist. Black Flame Orb is better due to the +1 to Possession, 60~ OA and the debuff.
Also yes, Fang of Chthon is BiS for Vit/Chaos Conjurer.
Why can’t you use black flame? Who cares if it buffs some arcanist skills. It gives huge amounts of chaos/vitality. Not every class combo has a set to build towards for every damage type.
Sure the +1 to Arcanist on the weapon isn’t ideal for you, but if you are wearing the other 3 items (which you should be if you are using SIgil/Destrcution).
the weapon grants you shit ton of %Chaos/Vitality damage,+3 Possesion, converts around 27% of Destructions fire damage to chaos and gives you access to the Skill Ritual Circle
For vit/chaos caster builds I prefer this 2 setup (1, 2), one of them used 3 part of black flame + 2 part from Justicar, other used Moosilauke’s shoulders due they give + to devouring swarm
the second set-up is for a Vitality Caster not a Chaos/Vitality caster.
Fang of Chthon is better then Black Flame’s weapon if you have it because of the way Crate decided to make the game. Making -RR way to important.
I find 3pcs of black flame to be the best option, so you are on the right track. And since you can add many items with +1 to all occultist skills you dont have any issues with lack of skill points and even if you do you can always grab clairvoyant hat for additional +1.
