Crash at startup

Previously my game crashed in 1.0.4 and when I boot it again, all my chars are gone, my shared stash remains, and my game is now downgraded to 1.0.2 with Ashes of Malmouth fully functional (figures!!). I reinstall it, remains at 1.0.2. I then run the Repair tool within the game checking all the boxes, and now the game doesn’t start. It stays at the black screen. WTF!! send help

Which system are you using Steam or GOG? Game should be 1.0.5.1 by now, download that from whichever one you use and see what that does.
