Y’all have no idea how much of a blast I’m having adding new weapons into the game. I’m seriously…I can’t wait to add some structure to what the hell I’m doing.
So basically, I copied the record for Valdun’s Gun and renamed it to something else. I’ve attached a new skill to it. I went into the skill/relic folder and copied and pasted the volley relic skill into the legendary skill folder and renamed it to ‘Full Auto’
Inside this copied volley skill, I upped the percentage of how often this skill would activate 37:45; and…ready for this? Added projectiles:10 to the skill.
My gun, the Ancient M249, already had an stupidly high attack speed rating…but now? It’s literally a shotgun every other shot with short range 10 projectiles sweeping the screen. And yes…I know what the M249 is but I couldn’t resist adding in the projectile count to see what that would do lol
Oh man, I need to get some sleep. But just wanted to put it out there to everyone…you’re gonna love making new stuff
btw- Crate, if you’re reading this - I’d love to know how many people you had over time who worked on adding items into the database. Holy crap. I’m one guy just trying to invent 10 new legendary 2h guns and add them into the DB, and between modding in tags, copy/pasting database records, adjusting loot tables…this is crazy work lol.
I completely get why you have the number of limited legendaries in the game. This is a lot of work
My mod is hoping to expand upon each gear subset by at least 10 legendary items to start. This may take some time. At least I’ve got my first 4 new legendary 2h guns added in:

So general question in creating new weapons it would be possible to say make one with Raise Spirit as the proc having something like a 30% chance on enemy death?
Nice shotgun mod I don’t do ranged characters myself. Any chance you figured out how to put Raise Spirit on a weapon? Going to resurrect my Witchblade soon and would love to have that on a weapon.
