CrowdControl during enemy animation

I brought this up before, somehow cannot find it, thing is:
This has still not been adressed, I hope it can make it into next patch:

Enemies crawling out of the ground / appearing from a shrine or similar are IMMUNE to cc.
If for example you freeze them, the turn blue, but still move.

This is by design.

Well, such technique of making characters (partly) invulnerable during animations is not unheard of. I can remember at least two more games from the top of my head that have similar thing going on. I guess it’s mostly to prevent models from glitching out if they die/freeze/get displaced mid animation.

Or maybe in this case it’s to give the enemies the chance to “fight back” or whatever =)
