I’ve just completed normal difficulty (Didn’t try veteran until I’d already got to the quest to kill Loghorrean and hindsight would say I should have had it on from the beginning >.<).

60 hours it took and I’m level 62 and the only thing I’ve not killed is Mogdrogen. Yes 60hours and level 62 might seem slow but I never play games to rush I like doing as much as I can, I even managed to doing a few runs of the 3 rogue dungeons (not that it’s saying a lot considering it was just normal lol).

Very happy with the game and intend on getting Ultimate complete then starting a HC character (with veteran!). Only point is the ending, like someone else mentioned bit anti-climatic but then they have an expansion in the works so it’s half to be expected/acceptable.

Well worth the money though!!

A few tips for elite

  1. Focus on one damage type

  2. Make sure you know which your main skill is and aren’t just button mashing. Your main skill should be strong

  3. Use faction gear, they have some much needed resistances

  4. Pick-up green items

  5. Invest into to resistance reduction of whatever damage type you’re using.

I’ve been a lurker of the forums for a few weeks now already even prior to buying the game. All valid points and things I’ve already started to focus on after reading them repeated in some form or another numerous times here on the forums.

Even bought the game as a gift for my sister to play so we can do some multiplayer.
