I thought these pistols were supposed to drop with a 100% chance to pass through enemies? Was this changed or something or is this just something that has a possibility to happen? Also why can shields be created when you try to create ranged weapons at Bella? That is kind of annoying when I am spending rare materials to get ranged weapons and it is giving me shields.
I’ve noticed that in the grimtools database, it shows that stat, and my Dagallon pistol’s (just the fire version sadly), does not show the stat. However, when I tested it, it does indeed pierce the targets 100% of the time. The Vortex Rifle is the same way. For some reason, they decided not to show us that stat.
No weapon with innate 100% Piercing i.e Dagallon guns, Vortex of Souls and Will of Fate will list this particular stat in their tooltip
Basically, 100% Piercing is a hidden stat. You can observe it by testing it on dummies/enemies
That seems quite strange. I was starting to think something was weird because I’ve gotten two fire versions today and neither has the stat. Why would they hide it? Wasn’t aware vortex had that kind of piercing or the will of fate. Hmm changes my perspective on those weapons as being able to penetrate through enemies is super useful.
Hidden stats should not exist…as hidden at least…
Someone told me that if u hover over Cunning u see some %dmg to piercing that does add up to ur total in char2 in inv but doesnt show it as a sum. Why ?
I always thought i had the total with that…not without it…
Every single stat that a weapon gives should be showed on the item, so it can be fully compared to others.
Speaking of Hidden Stats, everyone do remember there’s a Hidden Skill mod on Spellscourge shield that removes Weapon Limitation from Devastation to allow you to cast Devastation while having that shield equipped
Wow, I was not aware of that. Suddenly a battlemage is not looking like such an awful option 
Maybe someone experienced with the game should make a resource post about all the items with hidden attributes and what they are.
