I was wanting to wait until xpac to drop DoH and upgrade to Cataclysm. There appears to be demand to make this happen sooner than later. So, upgrade now or wait till xpac?
The old version has no chance of being corrected even if a problem is found, so I think that it is better to always use the new one.
It’s annoying work to do so, especially considering that Frost Knight was removed, so we risk breaking characters again. That’s why we’ve been waiting for the expansion when a bunch of stuff is going to break anyways and use that opportunity to refine DAIL. The purpose of the poll is not determining whether Cataclysm should replace Dawn of Heroes in DAIL (it will), but whether there’s enough demand to do so right now instead of after the expansion.

No such thing. 
Cataclysm is better because, unlike DoH, it’s up to date and I’m trying to fix bugs as soon as they get reported. On the other hand, it’s a huge amount of work, which you gonna need to re-do when xpac is released, so if I were you I’d stick to DoH until the expansion.
That is my inclination as well, for exactly the same reason. Frankly I’m surprised there’s so much demand for updating to Cataclysm right now, but I’m guessing many didn’t actually read and just looked at the poll that frankly isn’t well written. What the options should be are “Upgrade to Cataclysm after the expansion”, “Upgrade to Cataclysm now”, and “Mods are cheating.” The last option is clearly the most correct however :rolleyes:.
Yeah I almost immediately clicked “Upgrade to Cataclysm” because of course I want the latest and greatest updated version. But then I actually read, and if you guys are going to have to do a bunch of work now and do it all over again when the expansion releases, you might as well wait and save some time and the extra headache.
