So question, what if I was to roll Necromancer/Shaman. Then I was to grab the Talent Corrupted Storm “converts all lightning damage into vitality damage”. Then I took the talent Sear Soul “converts all vitality damage to aether damage” from the Necromancer tree,but then I was to also take Gravechill “converts all aether damage to cold damage” from the Necromancer tree. Would all my original lighting damage now be cold?
Well, no, for two reasons.
One, Conversion happens all at once. So only starting sources of X damage types wind up as Y damage types.
Two, the transmuters you listed are just that - transmuters, only affecting singular skills. They do not apply globally.
