Occultist or necro
Occultist had IMO the better stuffs and synergy
curse + aspect + possesion
Necro skills have nearly zero synergy, right?
Spectral binding - Bad for acid build?
the exclusive skills are ok
only reason for necro is the bone harvest boni from the set,
is this enough to go reaper? Only the bone harvest?
And if I dont go necro, the 4piece bonus is wasted? Or is the 30%cold to acid strong?
Necromancer has way better synergy. You can reach a ton more damage with it than with occultist. My Reaper has 176 attack speed and 192 casting speed with only perma buffs, applying Soul Harvest and Lethal Assault increases your damage so much that the 95% RR you have is enough to support that high damage. Oh, and you convert ~60% cold damage to acid, so you can easily go for double Deathguard Sigil (if you wield two set weapons) for base 236,8 acid damage from the proc. Also, if you pick Deathstalker relic as I did, your damage is increased even more. Also, 18/8 Execution, damn.
I have to agree that Deathquard is a Reaper set and really turms Bone Harvest into a nuke provieded that you go DW and use two Deathguard blades.
But i also from my personal experience Deathguard Reapers are very squishy, lacks DA and armor, and have a hard time to cap all resistances so you’ll probably need to forge some really good Stoneplate Greaves, that will cover all the missing resistances. Crowdcontrol is also a nightmare for Deathguard Reapers especially stun and freeze so you need to think about it as well.

its more about the flat dmg bonus you get, right?
soul harvest give flat dmg. and flat dmg is strong for dw builds? Right?
for the necro exclusive skill? is it harbringer of souls or master of death that is good?
@saw… think its ok for me. the char is not for farming 170crucible. its more to make the build work with the set, kill everything in campaign, maybe finish 150gladiator once and be happy with the work done :))
