Decorative tree planting should cost logs or planks or acorns not gold

Just seems completely illogical to plant something that can be propagated from something natural that is all around you, and have to pay gold for it. Reinvesting timber-based products into the birth of a new tree makes much more satisfying sense. So logs, nuts, fruit, even planks would make more sense. But with a small failure rate.
