I have had a lot of villagers get dehydrated since the last update, one that is dehydrated right now lives 6 tiles from one well (which has 250 watr in it), and 10 tiles from a second well and there are 2 more wells within 20 tiles of their house. (As seen in the pic) I have no little water icons on any houses when the people were getting dehydration either.

Maybe he works somewhere far off in the wilderness. Hunters, foragers, miners and work camp laborers sometimes have issues with long distances. Building temporary shelters with a well next to it worked for me.
This was the 4th person by year 4, and this one was the first to die from it. She keeled over inside the confines of my village not too far from a well. (Just down from the well on the bottom left of the picture.
The most likely case of that is usually villagers that work far out of town, yeah. Maybe they ran back to town for something and didn’t get a chance to drink before dying.
That is possible, was just weird that this is the first playthrough I’ve had people get dehydrated and I have more wells per pop than any others Ive had
You shouldn’t have those wells so close together they just share the same water supply and so yield less each. If when you are placing a well you can see other wells nearby picked out in blue, you’re placing it too close to the existing one. Also your villager might not be at home they might be getting dehydrated where they work or while on a long journey
They didnt start that close, I added some after the first villager suffered from dehydration. Zantai, the person who died was a hunter, working outside the village, but right before he died she walked right past her house and 3 wells to keel over right in the middle of the village, was she too lazy to stop for a drink?
The only way this could be caused by a non-bug is if the wells are dry due to the reduced output of multiple wells near each other. But if they have ample water, nobody should be dying of dehydration. If that’s intentional that’s shitty, terrible game design.
