demo/arcan dual pistol

i dont know what else to do as i try to get ready for elite and beyond.
I am trying to get resistances and dmg. but the dmg eludes me. is it that the pistols do more dmg but have great Attack speed procs and fire dmg that would be better than dps? i am not sure i get it.

so weapon 1 increases dps but not so great procs but weapon 2 lowers dps but has good procs which is better? fire dmg 80% burning 20% but lower dps?

i am having a hard time choosing items to place like rings and badge and neck. is that what needs to have more dps? defensive stats? or combo? not sure.

i wish i could show you my gears they are i dunno bad and i am not sure what to put on and what to sell. any tips for a noob like me?

what stuff am i looking for as a demo/arca on gears?

also what faction has the best gears for me? any advice?

Hi, here’s an excellent build:
The Mad Sorcerer

You can replace some of the harder-to-find gear with craftable stuff, i.e. instead of Heart of Ulzuin, you can use Empowered Essence of Beronath, and instead of Exterminus, you can use Arcanum Sigillis. The only thing you really need is Pyroclasm Mark because it will allow dual-wielding, but it’s easy to find in the Legit SC trade thread.

Edit: go Kymon’s Chosen - they have fire/lightning stuff
