Does this skill work with pistols also, or just rifles?
The description above can read either way.
It says it works with both 2 Handed melee and 2 Handed Ranged weapons. So no, it doesn’t work with pistols since they are 1 handed.
I wish the transmuter did more for rifles. Maybe boosting the AoE of the Explosive Strike skill so using two handers feels more like shooting a bazooka or something

2 handed melee or ranged weapon can be read differently.
When a 2handed ranged weapon is equipped it doesn’t show the cric damage increase that should be there from Searing Might?
I think it’s the same as Rending Force, which increases the crit damage of Forcewave. It doesn’t show up in the character stats page but it’s still in effect.
Obviously, it doesnt show up, because it works for THAT skill (Fire Strike) only. Character tab shows “global” crit multiplier, that is applied to ALL skills.
2 handed (melee or ranged) is how it is intended to be read.
