Desperate for advise on a few things.

1.) Gollus Rings-Bugged or not? My experience after 2 dozen Gladiator Crucibles and over 30 gollus runs in last 2 months and not a single damn drop!!! I need these rings with specific Affixes for 2 of my main characters. (Note: most of these runs were also with party members who also had no drops)

If anyone has any for trade hit me up on steam as Presto_Dynamo. Thx (also on GD discord often)

2.) Pet OA. Has anyone made a list of possible base OA ranges for each pet and/or summon in the game. Some seem to crit way more often than others without any gear or buffs. (I’ve seen a little explanation of base OA for dog and beatles but nothings that just lists their possible base OA. 800 or 1800? 2k or 4k? IDK some seem close to 4k and others under 2k.

3.) My pet build is close to the Dracarris guide build. Is their another guides for this specific class set and if so any that are better since the AoM update? Maybe one better for Multiplayer?

Here’s my build with some changes. I plan on having Flame Touched Gollus rings instead of current rings. I have all the purple boots and interchange them out in some fights. My question is: Is there anything I may be missing in this build as far as really big augments/components (for damage for crit pets not my own damage/survivability) as well as a better shield, chest, pants etc. I like Kuba’s pants as well and I would like to fit beast callers 3 piece set bonus in but just can’t:(. As I sit I can tank AoM end boss and farm him quickly. (10-15 seconds per form/ under 7 seconds with a partner of any decent build)

(Note: You may notice I’m a bit on the tankier side for this build and have a bit less OA% for my pets. Instead I prioritize resistances and max damage for ALL my allies for multiplayer. I believe this is good multiplayer build and is more well rounded as I have 5 all skills in demolitionist which reduces resistances more and also have temper 18/12 and FT 19/12.)

For trade you’ll be best off trying the trading threads. Good luck

They seem to drop for me every now and then. The Crucible will just give you a random spew of items, but he should drop them with a reasonable chance:

But if you have a build that relies on specific affixes on MIs… maybe revise the build? I’m pretty sure that all the funky greens in the build guides fall into one of the three categories below:

  • The person already had the item in question
  • The item is expected to be cheated in
  • It’s a common MI with common affixes (or the affixes don’t matter much)

Farming for MIs with specific affixes is pretty much the worst possible waste of time, unless it’s a common affix on a common drop on an easy-to-get-to monster. Planning around, say, Stalwart Solael-Sect pants is not out of the reach of people who play the game legitimately, but planning around 2x Demolitionist’s Gollus Rings where both happen to have +1 to Flame Touched is just setting you up for frustration. (And then we haven’t talked about the suffix yet.)

To be specific: grimtools lists 609 possible ring prefixes. Only one of these will give +1 to Flame Touched. Mostly ignoring level requirements (which decreases the number of possible prefixes) and affix rarity, let’s just say every 100th Gollus Ring will be one you want. The actual chance is probably smaller, but let’s say it’s 100 because it’s easy to work with. Since he has a 18.92% chance to drop a level 94 ring, you will get one you like with the probability of 0.1892%: the drop chance divided by the number of possible prefixes. This means every time you kill him, there’s a 99.8108% chance you won’t like the outcome: 100%-0.1892%. If you plan to kill him a hundred times, you can multiply the 99.8108% with itself for a hundred times: 99.8108% to the power of 100 is ~83%. So out of 100 kills, you will not get the ring you like 83% of the time. You’d need to kill him 1000 times to get this down to 15%, and give yourself an 85% chance of success. For ONE ring, with just the right prefix; suffix being completely random. Compare this to the Worldeater which has a reputation of being rare: you can get that to drop with an 87% probability after 100 kills.

Hey thanks for the advice and the math. I didn’t realise rare affix Gollus rings were so rare of a drop. I’ve done over 50 gollus runs without a single drop so far :stuck_out_tongue: math seems off for my game :(??? Everyone says Living rings are better but i need that % hp regen on it for max potential XD. I just wanted to have my character with 2k hp regen, 3500 DA, over 5k armor, and over 35k hp sit their and not take damage in Glad Crucible while inside aether storm against all bosses :(. Welp im close 1500 hp regeni guess.

I got the WorldEater my first time on ultimate killing that guy lol.

It’s not a case of the maths seems off in your game it’s literally a case of too small a sample size to be able to calculate the true RNG of it.

Also the thing to remember with anything RNG based like this is that as a human you expect after 50 or 1000 runs there to be an increased chance of getting the drop…BUT with RNG it doesn’t matter if it’s your 1st run or your 5,000th run, it’s still the same very small, unchanged % chance to drop
