Hello, I would like to suggest an additional option to redo all Devotion points in 1 click. The cost would remain the same (shards/bits) but the tediousness would be cut.

(tl:dr)

  • Allows for further investment.
  • Allows for more build testing/data for Crate.
  • More investment+more testing=more $$ for Crate.

I find planning builds extremely fun but sometimes just switching 1-2 devotions can take over an hour each time just to figure out how I can do it.

The stimulus I suggest is for 2 main reasons. First, this will help people stay invested while playing. I enjoy the game but sometimes I just say, “sigh it’s not worth the trouble”. I still haven’t tried half of the devotion tree (to see what the abilities do) because of this tediousness.

Second, this would allow people to test more builds. Whether it’s theorycrafting a min/max for something specific or going from 2 completely different builds in the same class tree (poison to cold), being able to redo all devotion points at once would help this process. Not to mention the extra data you guys would have for testing. (Help figure out if people don’t like something or just don’t want the hassle of changing). This happened in wow with rogues. Blizzard kept buffing rogues because noone played them, so Blizzard thought they were underpowered. Turns out people just don’t like playing rogues.

Tonic of Clarity already does that. But it can only be dropped by Nemesis troves.

GD Sidekick and Defiler for all the theory crafting and testing, it takes too long to play normally for those purposes

Ok thank you. I recently got into ultimate and I am starting to cap reputation. That’s is one possibility I suppose, but the same issue remains. It’s also less time consuming and less difficult to just farm aether shards.

As for the mods/addons, would those mess with the game files/characters? I’ve seen some guys have the “Cheater” name instead of the character name in Youtube videos. I would prefer to play as “pure” as possible.

When I’m working on characters, I am constantly redoing devotions for many reasons. Testing different things, trying out new abilties, min maxing based on gear (damage/utility/survival) and so forth. Was just hoping for a nice little button so I could do all that and still play the game. I have sooooo much to grind out but between creating new characters, new builds, and crafting endgame relics, there’s just not much time to go around.
