Two transmuters that have zero item support at the moment. Originally I wanted to post a for the lulz Discord + Elemental Blitz build and then make this thread but spikenik brought it up in the other thread so I thought I might as well post the feedback first.

1. Gravechill -

[spoiler]I believe this has been brought up that the transmuter lacks any decent support.

Earlier it had no support and then some was added most notably changes were made to the item known as Deathbound Amethyst but sadly in terms of overall build performance it’s weaker than Vigar’s Hunger because of the lack of ADCtH.
The transmuter adds a very cool look to the skill at the cost ADCtH (a small price for style). This is the main reason items like Riftwarped Grasp and Vigar’s Hunger are very important to Gravechill builds as they add the missing ADCtH.

Spectral Shield -

> While currently Speaker of the Dread is BiS, my proposal would be to make some changes to the Spectral Shield skill mod and make it give us 55% Vitality to Cold Damage to Drain Essence and 3% ADCtH to DE (making Deathbound Amethyst BiS over Vigar).
> I specify this shield because at the moment the Monster Infrequent known as Spectral Shield has Drain Essence support but is rarely used. Drain Essence seems to be the perfect opportunity for a shield based channeling spell caster.

Freeze Support Set -

Along with the MI shield changes it’d be great to see Freeze builds make a return.

> Basically an Apostate/Reaper focused set that supports Gravechill and reduces Freeze Resistance.
> This makes it the Freeze variant of Rimetongue.
> Naturally this set would need an amulet and a dagger to make sure neither Night’s Embrace nor Shard of Asterkarn can be used for exploits.
> This will also need to add Freeze mod to DE[/spoiler]

2. Discord -

[spoiler]During vanilla days I made a joke build around this transmuter and it worked. I thought AoM would add support to it but it didn’t Discord has gone w/o any dedicated support for a long time. Here’s what I have to propose -

> Change +2 to ABB on Bargoll’s Heart to +2 to Cadence

> Change +3 to Word of Agony to +3 to Cadence to Mythical Cortosian’s Scrolls

> Add +2 to Cadence to Mythical Runesinged Handguards and increase Attack Speed bonus on it to 15% (same as Cast Speed)

> Add a new Soldier belt with % Elemental Bonuses and flat Elemental Damage.

> % Elemental Bonus to Elite Coven Combatant’s Chestguard

> Add bonuses to Deadly Momentum and Arcane Empowerment toMythical Turion’s Reprisal

We have plenty of Soldier and soldier hybrid sets which is why I didn’t make any suggestions for a new set. If one is on its way then I can’t complain. The being said I still hope these changes are considered so that at least we have some variety in terms of gearing for Discord.[/spoiler]

Once ago I believed that Iskandra should receive Cadence/DM bonuses and it’ll be a nice fit. Iskandra’s skill bonuses and modifiers are too niche at the moment.

Believed is because the more I play the more I understand that I still don’t know the game all too well. :undecided:

But Iskandra is a caster set right? Or was it a medium armor set? Either way since the set has an off hand it’d have never helped out with Elemental Blitzers

Iskandra is a caster set but the bonuses are all IEE related and there’s even some flat elemental on skill modifiers. It’s literally the aether/elemental flat damage set by design. It also has the biggest flat hp bonus in the game as well as some neat amount of phys resistance, which made it a popular choice just for it’s defensive bonuses, completely ignoring skill bonuses.

Blitz works with melee weapons, so no problem there. Sure you miss some shield damage, but Iskandra’s offhand has flat aether that is added to your main weapon.

I wasn’t referring to the playstyle, what I meant by calling it a caster set was that it’d need unnecessary points into Spirit when used outside the battlemage combination

It could work but I’d prefer if bonuses were added on a set where I am not pumping spirit.

What would be nice is if they added a cadence bonus or a physical --> cold conversion to the leviathian as well.

I have no idea how to use that big bad weapon on a blademaster. As of now, I think I’ve only seen one GT link using it.

That’s a rather creative use of Blazerush and the Conduit. But honestly it feels like you’re actually losing damage by taking Discord here, since your %cold and %lightning are abysmall. I also doubt that Stormcaller’s Pact is worth it when your OA is that low. I would had taken Oleron’s Rage instead. Same for Eye of the Storm - I’d try Oleron’s Rage or Doomforce instead.

Leviathan I think was tested by Tora on Witchblade, 2H Cadence build. IIRC results are that it’s pretty good actually.

Iskandra BM can have 2700 armor. She’d be perfect for discord. Also iskandra BM and magehunter simply cannot die. I even did crucible with a meme 1h beronath mage hunter. Full set. Pathetic damage, endless tanking

Dude you’re missing my point. I know Iskandra is God Tier with the proc and very good w/o it

I just don’t like the idea of locking Discord to a caster set, it’d be a PITA to get the spirit requirements for some class combinations. 632 spirit is no joke afterall
