Do AoM items only drop in the new areas?

Pretty much what the title says.

I haven’t been playing GD since forever and trying to catch up now. However I noticed that I can’t farm the new rogue dungeon as well as the old ones.

So my question is if they made it possible for AoM items to drop everywhere or whether that is restricted to the new areas.

AoM items will drop everywhere if you have it installed. They have to since you have two new masteries to play with and they need item support. Obviously certain MIs will only drop from specific bosses/heroes.

AoM upped the difficulty level a bit all round.
