Full physical mortar trap, probably not the first of it’s kind.
Reached lvl 26 with badge of mastery, had elemental seeker as devotion at first only to find that I can’t link elemental seeker to mortar trap, reason I went physical was because I found that bosses like lokkar and above has around 100 resistance which seems quite hard to shred but only 2k-3k armor
The previous builds I made was told that they were too squish, got more da this time around tho, and I was wondering if this is good enough to clear crucible, idea would be just drop mortars and run around to dodge stuff, I still don’t know if the nemesis bosses can be kited by running around pillars.
You need 724 spirit to equip that offhand. No grimtools prefix or suffix on it or the any either. I don’t think you can do 150 or 170 crucible. Not enough sustain on your build. How are you going to regen your health?
70% Aether Resistance versus something like Anasteria + Theodin combo? You are getting pulverized. No shield or circuit breaker? You are getting pulverized. No sustain thru adtch, no damage absorption of any kind? That’s right, pulverized. Maybe it can clear Challenger dificulty, but almost all decent builds can do that.
That’s a good point, the lowest lvl offhand only requires 400 spirit I guess it’s still manageble, and I was thinking about using only potions for sustain, but isn’t the point of doing a totem/mortar build avoiding damage tho? Since it’s not like a melee build don’t have to run close, it’s not like a range build, don’t have to stand still to shoot, or is avoiding damage not possible even if you are on the run 24/7? I’ve only played a storm totem build to homestead so I’m not sure what high lvl crucible is like.
You have to do minimum movement in order for Mortar build to do damage, otherwise monsters will be chasing you and your mortars will be missing a lot. There is a very decent mortar build in new build compendum, I think it’s Purifier. Guy did 150-170 Crucible Gladiator with it. Just check it to see how far off your draft is in terms of defenses and sustain.
