I was fiddling around with a trainer for infinite crafting on a downloaded toon last night, and I tried my damndest to get the Legendary Smith at the Goblin fort to create a Trozan’s Vestments chest piece.
After repeated crafting for over an hour, he would not make one, but made all the other pieces of the set (as well as other sets).
Are there certain pieces of set items that the Legendary Smith is unable to create for you when you use him?

He can definitely make Trozan’s chest, possible a session limits the loot table to X-Z items? He can make anything except helmets because those are available through blueprints and the monster specific legendaries like Outcast’s Secret and Mad Queens Claw. Edit forgot about craftable belts, amulets, etc I will assume they are like helmets and that anything with a blueprint can;t be crafted, could be wrong though I haven’t done much crafting with him
Btw much easier to just download gd sidekick which contains all of the games items 
just a point of clarification… I thought if the Black Smith rolls a helm (and maybe other craftable items) you actually receive the BP instead of the actual item.
Are set items typically harder to roll in general? I seem to find very few regardless of the source…
I may be just stupid, but I could never get it (GD Sidekick) to function and i don’t know how to pluck the items I need out of it to test builds.

All you do is drop transfer.gst into \Grim Dawn\Save and that is it. Don’t do it while stash is open and rename to .gsh if hardcore. Think it is a different folder if you use cloud saves? Either way same thing applies just drop the file in while stash is closed and that is it
In your save game folder you will find a file named transfer.gst. That’s your transfer stash. The hardcore stash is transfer.gsh instead. Copy or rename your transfer.gst so that you can restore the original one later. Copy the file you want from GDSidekick and Paste it into your save game folder and rename it transfer.gst. Take the items you want out and then delete it. Restore your original transger.gst.
GDSidekick is archived in RAR format. If you don’t have anything that will open a .rar archive, 7-zip is a good program. http://www.7-zip.org.
Ahhh, but see, I did that. I just actually did it again.
But when I get into game, and open my stash folder tabs, they are just blank and empty.
Etram hates me, the last three times I tried for an accessory I got Will of Bysmiel.
I don’t play a pet build. I want Lifegiver Signets goddamnit. Sigh.
I finally got a Trozan’s chest last night for playtesting. FInally. I gambled over an hour and a half and FINALLY one chest piece spawned.

i think he can make almost everything except helmets, his helm selection is garbage. which explains why the Trading thread everyone lists f— all when it comes to helms they have to offer lol
