Shame that Iron Lore collapsed.
I’m glad that Crate Entertainment bought TQ engine, hired the same people and making a game that will show Blizzard where the crabs overwinter (Polish saying, I do not know the English equivalent).

Put my hopes in Grim Dawn

I learned about this game yesterday, watching the video on youtube where the guy complained about the latest Blizzard proposals.

In a few days I will have a salary. Then I wonder whether to support the boys now or wait for the boxed version (I love the smell of freshness).

medierra hasn’t confirmed anything yet but held out the prospect of a boxed version now and then. You might have to wait much longer for it than for the downloadable version - from February 2011:

I expect there will probably be a boxed version at some point, whether it coincides with release or comes later is unknown. We’d have to partner with a publishers to handle the distribution of a boxed version. A number of publishers have inquired about that but we haven’t really gotten into serious discussion with any of them yet.

Apart from that Crate’s margin will be less, if you buy a boxed version … unless it is significantly more expensive.
