I was wondering if anyone has tried a dot based build, shaman has a couple of Skills in Grasping Vines and Locust Swarm is it? And apparently these stack? Add in Wendigo as well.
Looking at Nightblade it seems you can add to dot dmg here quite nicely.
For clarification I mean +Bleed damage when I say dot.
I checked.high end gear and there’s a few bits that would support this and I was thinking the build would end up pretty glass cannon, so a range build.with something like Gutripper 2h rifle might be wise.
Devotion wise there’s seems to be some constellations that would support this type of build well.
So has anyone tried it? Im not thinking of Crucible, more a softcore pve story type character.

Gutripper is better with soldier class combo as the +skills are Cadence oriented.
A Witchblade using cadence and CoF is a strong option
Another strong option is to do a warder with the Bloodrager set, either with Guillotine 2H axe or with S&B

Bleeding conjurer is also a good option with CoF/Devoring swarm insane resist reduction combo
I’ve tried trickster in many combinations. Bleed damage is disappointing. You will get 200k dot crits, tops, and without the benefit of burst damage like Witch Hunter or SB.
Savagery+ execution and Circle of slaughter are your main bleeders. You can play around with blade spirit too but not enough gear support for it.
