I started playing following Poxh’s 100% conversion savagery guide.

As you can see, he only got it to 80. I have done a bit of trying to extend the build to end game since I’m already at the point that he is at but I feel like I need help optimizing devotions and skills. I assume Ultos’ gear is what I should be aiming for but i like the feel of the proc based character.

Some things:

  • dropped storm totem, took wind devil, resist reduction is king after all
  • moved some skill points around, modrogens pact down to one point, more oak skin, max storm touched because attack speed is vital for slow two handers (especially the one you use, so slow), took one point grasping vines as a devotion trigger, maxed elemental balance
  • devotion: dropped wraith, took widow, again you absolutely need this lightning resist reduction, whoever made your guide is not very good at it… you have 3 points left to do whatever with

I gained 70 resist reduction with a couple of easy changes, that’s going to make a massive difference. The build you were following… has issues.

I didn’t touch the gear, there are guides out there with all that already done, look in the compendium.

Keep Raging Tempest 12/12 since 14/12 aint gonna give more resistance reduction

Have you considered the Malmouth Carbine btw?

I didnt know of it until you mentioned it. The attack speed is nice but would losing the +2 skills be a big loss?

My guess is that you will benefit more from attack speed. Going from 2.15 aps to 2.64 is 22% more DPS (which will be less due to the AS from Savagery is not accounted for in GrimTools). Max attack damage is 300 less, but it depends on what roll you manage to get (you can reset shops and only buy the one with “perfect” rolls, grimtools have the “mean” roll accounted for I think). You will loose some utility like armor and such, but you get chaos resistance

And… consider this https://i.imgur.com/88dPk9S.png it will not fit your “100% conversion” theme though and is more suitable for Primal Strike but … still sick weapon
