I am thinking of getting this game… 25yo Articled Clerk here from Italy… I am dubious tho, the only experience I have of Early Access (Starpoint Gemini 2) is very good, but still.
If you generally like ARPG’s and have pondered your way in TQIT, there is a high chance you will like Grim Dawn 
I like Diablo 2 LOD, Skyrim, Kingdom Hearts (saga), Baldur’s Gate, Nevewinter Nights and the Legacy of Kain saga.
I hated diablo 2’s grinding tho. I never got what I wanted, and it was way more frustrating than fun. I wished it had a deeper RPG capability, rather than being just hack and slash. in that, NWN was way more satisfying.
if I might be completely honest, I didn’t even know Titan quest existed until discovering this game!
I’d be much more inclined to buy after knowing more about the game… there is no updated FAQ, so I have some questions by myself

GD is most like D2 Lod from the games you’ve listed. The biggest difference is that there is no closed online multiplayer.
If you want to give Titan Quest a try, keep an eye on the steam gold edition. It regularly goes on sale for 50% off, and there’s still a community around the game on the TQ forums.

Same here. Some people’s hangup on finding MP so necessary is mind-boggling. I’ll never play this with anyone except perhaps my kid if he wanted to.
One exception: When they implement survival mode, now that might be a good time with a solid group.
