Endgame Melee Saboteur vs. Blademaster

Hey everyone,
I wanted to see which build people think is ultimately more powerful at endgame: the dual-wield saboteur or blademaster. I feel like the fire strike line is just insanely good for dual wield, but that saboteur lacks enough active and passive defenses to deal with ultimate. Blademaster on the other hand has the potential to really be a dps monster and also has access to the great active/passive abilities in the soldier tree. Which do you think is overall the best class in terms of dps/tankiness/farming speed etc.? I would love to hear about your experiences:D

Demolitonist was hugely buffed:

Flame-touched is ridiculous (200 OA)
Blast shield is rediculous
Ulzuin’s aura was also hugely buffed (15% total speed added)
And fire strike is probably the best melee DW skills when you take the modifier, with the new sword from secret quest hugely buffing it (and yes, you can obtain two on two different chars then transfer them to use on a DW meleer).

Meanwhile, all soldier got was heavy nerfs.

So, guess what?

Thanks Dolpiff, I was not aware the patched changed those skills. I suppose saboteur is the better option then.

I have a DW sabotuer and just beat elite with him. Pretty faceroll so far, but we will see in ultimate what happens.

Soldier to me is pretty meh all around. I have a warder build going and I am having a hard time even putting points into the soldier tree. Doesn’t seem like anything is really all that good. The only thing I use is blade arc basically.

Yea the consecutive nerfs to the soldier tree have made it very “Meh” unless you have a sheild. The Nerfs to Cadence and how cadence interacts with %attack to Health really killed Soldier.
