Eon band's skill projectile radius too large

Not sure if this was a bug. The Eon band trigger skill, projectile start with a quite large radius, which may not hit enemy around effectively or less effective.
Was it designed to be this way, or was it just an accident?

I think the purpose of the projectile is to hit ranged enemies that are farther away from you. Works fairly well on ranged/caster builds

Although I think the radius could be reduced to 9 meters, so it matches the radius of max rank Aura of Censure and other skills with similar radius/range.
